CHECK OUT THE AUTUMN QUARTER NEWSLETTER!

Biology Book Club
Interested in reading? This spring the Biology Book Club will read The Forest Unseen by David Haskell. The book is about Haskell's observations of the forest floor in Tennessee.
Monday, May 21st at 4:30pm HCK 312.
All are welcome to attend!

The Academic Services Department, along with Tri-Beta, is forming a Biology Department book club! We will choose a fiction or non-fiction book each quarter that has a scientific thread, but also examines social, cultural, and environmental topics.
This posthumously published memoir chronicles Kalanithi’s unique path to becoming a neurosurgeon and his attempts at understanding his purpose in a world in which all beings eventually die. Our first meeting will be on Monday, November 27, at 4:30. Location is TBD, look out for more information coming soon!
This is an inclusive book club for faculty, staff, students, and alumni alike; it is not restricted to the Biology Departement.
