Tribeta's quarterly seminar is right around the corner!!! Wednesday, May 10th from 4:30 to 5:30 in Allen Green Room A we will be having Professor Luis Ceze from UW-CSE present his research on a DNA based archive storage system! The demand for data storage is growing exponentially and DNA as an archive for data is an attractive possibility! DNA has a raw limit of 1 exabyte/mm^3 (10^9 GB/mm^3) and long lasting, with an observed half life of over 500 years! Come join and learn about this amazing possibility for the future of biology and technology!! This event is open to everyone so bring your friends!
