Come join TriBeta for our first event of 2017! Tribeta is partnering with BloodWorks to host a blood drive on January 5th from 10:30am-4:30pm at the University Lutheran Church on 50th and 16th. We are hoping to get at least 40 donors, so please stop by! One pint of blood can save three lives! We would really appreciate your contribution and everyone at TriBeta and NW Bloodworks thanks you! There is nothing better than getting ready for finals by studying surrounded by friends and tutors!!! Come study with our tribeta tutors and get all the help you need to Ace your finals!!! Join us December 8th from 3:30 to 6:30 in HCK 302. There will lots of snack, hot chocolate and pizza!!! And congratulations on making it to the end of autumn quarter and they year 2016!!!
Tribeta is having our November monthly meeting on Thursday, November 10th at 4:30pm in HCK 312! Come join us for GAME NIGHT!!!! We will have cards against science (the science version of cards against humanity) and pictionary!!! Tribeta is also partnering with UW food pantry and having a food drive to support hunger awareness so please if you can bring a anything from nonperishables to toiletries to our meeting and you know it will be going to a good cause! Game night is open to everyone and snacks will be provided!

Save the date for Tribeta's quarterly seminar on November 3rd at 5pm Allen Green Room A! Chloe Lahondere and Clement Vinauger from the Riffell Lab will be presenting on the unique lifestyle of mosquitoes that allow them to pursue disease transmission. "A Life of Challenges: How do Mosquitoes Survive out there?" embodies a range of research approaches from fieldwork to neuroethology. This talk will be exciting and presented for all levels of knowledge!
Halloween is coming up and will be here before you realize it!!! Come out and join Tribeta for our pumpkin carving event on October 20th from 4:30-6pm in Hitchcock on the 3rd floor lounge. This event is open to EVERYONE!!!! So bring all your friends and come out and carve some pumpkins to get into the feeling of fall!! Candy and pumpkins are provided, can't wait to see everyone's finished product!!
We will be having Monthly Member Meetings the second Thursday of every month! So come join your fellow Tribeta members for our first one on October 13th in Allen Green Room A from 4:30-5:30. As this is our first meeting, we want to get to know you, and for you to get to know us! We will have all sorts of ice breakers and games, not to mention free pizza! The theme is trivia night so we will be playing trivia with questions about our officers and of course biology. Come out and socialize with other tribeta members, have some pizza and play games! Can't wait to see you all there!!
